Comments:

For the control/eradication of Silvery Thread Moss it is recommended to apply 6.7 oz per acre followed with a repeat application 14 days later.  Then you can apply .10 oz per 1000 sq. ft every two weeks for control/eradication.  Do not exceed 0.40 a.i per acre in one growing season.  Many superintendents find that adding 0.10 lbs of Iron Sulfate Hepta-Hydrate with Quicksilver enhances the control/eradication of Moss.

Quicksilver has been found to work great with phenoxy-type post emergent herbicides.  In most cases knockdown of the weeds occurs within hours and many weed species are completely dead in 3 to 10 days.  For this application the rate is 1.2 oz per acre.
