Derived from: Ferrous Sulfate, Magnesium Nitrate, Zinc Nitrate, Manganese Sulfate, Manganese Nitrate, Boric Acid, Ammonium Molybdate, and Amino Acids (aspartic acid, glutamic acid, alanine, arginine, cysteine, glycine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, proline, phenylalanine, serine, threonine, tryptophan, tryrosine, valine).

Applications

QUELANT-Minors is recommended to be applied as a foliar spray or through fertigation to provide turfgrass with the required micronutrients to prevent or correct any deficiencies due to inadequate soil pH, compaction, nutrient unavailability or any other adverse conditions.

Dosage

Apply 1.0-1.5 oz/1000 sq. ft. every 15-30 days throughout the growing season.

Observations

Most micronutrients are essential mainly because they activate enzymes and enhance physiological activities within the plant. Soil analysis for micronutrients do not adequately predict their concentrations in leaf tissue. Micronutrients in soils are usually adequate, but often they are not readily available for plant uptake. Leaf or tissue analysis may be required to determine deficiencies. Amino acids chelate micronutrients and enhance their absorption and translocation within the plant.
